Activities
Hot air balloon rides, golf and horse riding are all available locally, Our location directly on the Ashdown Forest, makes it ideal for walkers to explore this ancient hunting ground. Maps and pub walking guides are all available when you arrive or suggested itineraries can be posted to you beforehand so that you can plan your stay. Cycle or walk along the 11 mile Cuckoo Trail from Heathfield to Polegate or the Forest Way, a 9 mile flat tree-lined track which winds through from East Grinstead to Groombridge.

Eating Out
In Nutley village itself we have two restaurants and a local pub. Within a short drive is an excellent selection of traditional Sussex pubs, including the Griffin Inn (Fletching), The Hatch (Coleman's Hatch), The Peacock Inn (Piltdown), the Coach and Horses (Chelwood Gate) and the Dorest Arms i(Hartfield). Reservations at the weekend in Summer are adviseable, full details will be given on request.
